At times I have stuff on my mind that I want to share. It doesn't always warrant a phone call or text to friends, but often it IS something I need to get off my chest beyond a journal entry. So, here we are. Welcome to my random thoughts. Enjoy!

Sooooooooo...I was thinking about how I had an almost completed post and thought I saved it but I didn't. And it's too much to even try to do over at 5am. Yep, 5am. I set my clock for 5am on the day I'm supposed to have a new post, so I could finish up. I know I'm not going to work on a quality post to go out later, so alas, here we are. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a lesson on procrastination, time management, and consistency.
  1. Don't wait until the last minute to do what needs to be done. Things like this happens when you do. You can lose things, the quality could be sub-par, and it's a possibility that you'll induce frustration and anxiety as you're trying to frantically meet a deadline.
  2. Make a schedule. There are way too many planners, organizers, devices, and other resources available. There is really no excuse for mismanaging a to-do list.
  3. Consistency is key for success. That's my motto for the remainder of 2020 and what I'm taking with me into 2021. The first two points here are basically a given. Any idiot should know (It's me. I'm the idiot.) to not put things off and to stick to some type of schedule when there are lots of things to do. However, many people seem to overlook or diminish the importance of being consistent. But, I've seen its impact. I've seen the increase and opportunity possible through consistency. So, while I diligently work on the other two, I'm going to make SURE I have this consistency thing down pat.
That's it...a short one today folks, but I hope my fumble is a reminder for somebody who reads this to go ahead and make it do what it do!

Waiting to the last minute gets me every time. I'm now asking myself what I'm trying to avoid. It has to be something. 🤔

I think many times there's no reason for procrastination.
